Amir Suleman is an accomplished presenter and host since 2008. He is a freelance presenter with BBC Radio Cambridgeshire and also a volunteer radio presenter with Salaam Radio in Peterborough since 2016, presenting a primetime show on which he has interviewed the likes of Harris J, George Galloway, Zain Bhika, Abdullah Afzal, Aatif Nawaz, Safe Adam, Waqas and many more well-known names. Amir is featured here talking about Salaam Radio in The Guardian in Feb 2018.

Amir also has vast experience in voiceover work for advertisements and video features around the globe – his voice can be heard on radio ads in Thailand, as a digital audio guide at Mosques in Malaysia and self-help guides in the USA.

He has done extensive work as an MC/Host at events around the UK and the Middle East, for the likes of Salaam Radio, International Qur’an University, UKIM Peterborough and many corporate industry events.

Amir has also appeared on local radio and TV on both BBC and ITV as a media spokesperson for UKIM Peterborough and Salaam Radio, tackling topics on Islamophobia, hate crimes, women in Mosques, community cohesion, integration, extremism and more.

In his work career, Amir has been in business development for over 20 years, heading up sales teams and departments for corporates in both the UK and the Middle East. He also teaches public speaking using his own course he has developed over the years, from having taught this in the work environment. 

In his spare time, Amir volunteers as Spokesperson/Member at UKIM Peterborough and Director/Presenter/Spokesperson at Salaam Radio.
